Smart Off-grid Solar

Power anywhere — designed, installed and run from your phone

Off-grid power usually means juggling installers, guessing whether the batteries are fine, and driving out when something trips. EZYsmart makes it one relationship: we design and install the panels, batteries and inverters, then run the system remotely with you. You see production, battery level and every load from your phone, and problems get fixed before they cost you a battery bank, a freezer of food or a two-hour drive.

One system, one warranty, watched around the clock

Design & install

Panels, batteries, MPPT controllers, inverters and wiring come from one crew as one quote with one warranty. We size the system to how you actually use power, so you are not overpaying for capacity you never draw or stranded without enough for winter.

Affordable solar

Off-grid power does not have to be expensive. Smaller turnkey setups start under €1,000 — a 3.8 kWh LiFePO₄ bank rated for 10,000+ cycles runs a fridge, washing machine and TV — so a cabin or van gets reliable power without a five-figure install.

Live monitoring & remote control

Watch production and battery percentage in real time, and switch the inverter or start the generator from your sofa instead of after a drive. You spot the failing panel or draining battery the day it happens, not the day the freezer thaws.

Smart load balancing

Heavy loads and heating run on sunshine or cheap hours automatically, and fall back to gas, diesel or pellets only when the sun is short. Fuel and money are saved without you thinking about it, and the battery stays inside a healthy range so it lasts its full life.

A cabin that never comes back to a dead freezer

Imagine a summer cabin you visit every few weeks. Between trips, EZYsmart is quietly minding the solar system: it charges the LiFePO₄ bank on sunny afternoons, runs the fridge and a little heating on that stored power, and keeps the battery inside a healthy range so it ages slowly. One grey week the panels underproduce; instead of the battery quietly draining until the food spoils, you get an alert on your phone and start the backup generator remotely — from the city, days before you would have driven out. A month later a single panel starts underperforming after a storm; the monitoring flags the drop the day it happens, so it is a scheduled fix rather than a ruined weekend. When you do arrive, the lights, water pump and heating simply work, because the system balanced the loads against the sun the whole time you were away.

Off-grid solar, answered

What does a basic off-grid solar setup cost?

Smaller turnkey systems start under €1,000 — for example a 3.8 kWh LiFePO₄ battery rated for 10,000+ charge cycles, paired with panels and an inverter, which comfortably runs a fridge, washing machine, TV and lighting at a cabin or in a campervan. Because the battery chemistry is built for well over a decade of daily cycling, the cost per year of use is low even though it is more than a cheap lead-acid pack up front. Larger systems for year-round homes or high loads cost more, and the right size depends on what you run and when. Rather than quoting a generic package, we look at your actual usage and size panels, battery and inverter to match — so you neither overpay for capacity you never draw nor get left short in winter. Everything comes as one quote with one warranty.

Can I really control and fix the system remotely?

Yes — remote visibility and control are the point. From your phone you see live production, battery percentage and what each load is drawing, and you can act without being on site: switch the inverter, start or stop the backup generator, and adjust how heating or heavy loads are scheduled. That turns most “something’s wrong at the cabin” moments into a tap from home instead of a two-hour drive. Just as important, the system tells you before things go wrong: you get an alert when a panel underperforms, when the battery is draining faster than it should, or when production has dropped after a storm. So a failing panel becomes a planned fix rather than a spoiled freezer, and a cloudy week becomes a remote generator start rather than a lost trip. We set the monitoring up as part of the install, so it works from day one.

Will the batteries last, or will I be replacing them soon?

We build around LiFePO₄ (lithium iron phosphate) batteries rated for 10,000 or more charge cycles — well over a decade of daily use — precisely so you are not replacing packs every few years. The bigger factor in battery life, though, is how the system treats them, and that is where the smart control matters: EZYsmart keeps the battery inside a healthy charge range, avoids deep discharges by falling back to backup power when the sun is short, and runs heavy loads when there is surplus rather than dragging the pack down. Live monitoring means a cell or panel problem is caught early instead of quietly degrading the whole bank. The result is a battery that reaches its rated life rather than being worn out prematurely by rough cycling — which is usually what kills off-grid batteries long before their spec says it should.

Do you install everything, or just supply the gear?

We can do either, but most people want the turnkey route: one crew designs the system, supplies the panels, batteries, controllers, inverters and wiring, installs it, and then runs the monitoring with you — all as a single quote under one warranty, so there is no finger-pointing between a supplier and an installer if anything needs attention. If you already have some hardware or prefer your own installer, we can supply and configure the parts and set up the remote monitoring and control layer on top, since the platform is brand-agnostic and speaks to a wide range of equipment. Either way you end up with a system that is sized to your real usage and visible from your phone. We start by understanding where the system lives — cabin, boat, campervan or remote site — and what you need to power, then propose the setup that fits.
